Jodie and Ben are long-time locals of the area, having raised their family in the rural area of the Whitsundays and built a deep connection to the region and its community. Ben and Jodie started Coastal Edge Constructions many years ago and have been fortunate to build some stunning properties on Hamilton Island and Airlie Beach.
Jodie, growing up with cattle and possessing a true love of the land and Brahmans, the couple also had a cattle property west of Proserpine. They have put their passions together to create a beautiful space called The Farm House.
Following the sale of their cattle property and venue in 2024, The Creek Whitsundays to its new owners, Jodie and Ben have turned their focus to an exciting new chapter – bringing their vision to life with The Farm House.
Designed as a place to gather, unwind and reconnect. It provides a space of beautiful construction using concrete and timber with the connection of farming, offering the interaction with some of their favourite cows and the ability to escape up into the rainforest for some quiet time.

Beyond the beautifully designed spaces, The Farm House is very much a small, working farm, where guests can enjoy the simple charm of country life. You’ll often spot the friendly herd of cattle grazing peacefully across the paddocks.
Keep an eye out for big Max, a 11 year old Bullock that the family has had since the day he was born and became a big part of the family, thinking he was a dog.
The presence of the cattle adds to the relaxed rhythm of the land, offering a genuine connection to the farm and a reminder to slow down and take in the moment.
The Farmhouse has been created with heart, vision, and an unwavering attention to detail. Every element has been thoughtfully considered and carefully curated, resulting in a home that feels both effortlessly luxurious and deeply personal. From the architectural design to the smallest finishing touches, Jodie and Ben have poured themselves into every space, shaping The Farmhouse into a place that is not only beautiful, but truly felt.
